Effective Date: August 15, 2026
Thank you for choosing Central Florida Compliance. We are committed to providing high-quality training, educational courses, and compliance-related services. Because our courses may involve online instruction, scheduled in-person instruction, course materials, instructor time, classroom space, and other resources reserved specifically for each participant, the following Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all purchases and registrations.
By registering for a course, purchasing a training program, or submitting payment to Central Florida Compliance, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this policy.
1. General Refund Policy
All refund requests must be submitted in writing using the contact information provided on our website.
Refund eligibility depends on the type of course or service purchased, the date the cancellation request is received, whether the course has started, and whether any portion of the course or services has already been accessed or provided.
Unless otherwise stated for a specific course or service, the following refund schedule applies:
-
More than 7 calendar days before the scheduled in-person class: Eligible for a refund, less any clearly disclosed non-refundable fees or costs.
-
7 calendar days or less before the scheduled in-person class: Refunds may be subject to an administrative or cancellation fee.
-
After the course has started: Refunds generally are not available once the participant has accessed substantial course content, attended an in-person session, or otherwise received the educational services purchased.
-
After completion of the course: No refunds will be issued.
Certain courses, promotions, deposits, registration fees, examination fees, third-party fees, or specially designated products or services may have different refund terms. Any special terms presented at the time of purchase will control where they conflict with this general policy.
2. Online Course and Digital Content Policy
For courses or portions of courses delivered online, access to digital materials, videos, lessons, quizzes, documents, or other electronic content may begin immediately after registration or payment.
Once a participant has received access to substantial digital course content, refunds may not be available because the educational materials and services have already been made available for the participant's use.
If a course includes both online and in-person components, the online portion is considered part of the overall course enrollment and is subject to this policy.
3. Hybrid Online + In-Person Classes
Some Central Florida Compliance courses are offered in a hybrid format, meaning that participants complete part of the course online and attend a scheduled in-person class, skills session, examination, evaluation, or other required activity.
Registration for a hybrid course reserves a place for the participant in both the online and in-person portions of the program.
Online Portion
Once online course materials have been accessed, viewed, downloaded, or otherwise made available to the participant, the online portion may be considered delivered and may not be refundable.
In-Person Portion
Because in-person classes require advance scheduling, instructor availability, classroom preparation, supplies, and other resources, cancellations or changes to the in-person portion may be subject to the cancellation terms stated in this policy.
A participant who does not attend the scheduled in-person portion without providing timely notice may be considered a no-show and may not be eligible for a refund.
4. Rescheduling a Hybrid Class
When permitted, participants may request to move their in-person class date to another available class.
Rescheduling requests should be submitted as early as possible and generally must be received at least 7 calendar days before the scheduled in-person class.
Rescheduling is subject to availability and is not guaranteed.
Central Florida Compliance may limit the number of times a participant may reschedule. Additional fees may apply when a participant requests a change after the applicable cancellation deadline or repeatedly changes class dates.
If the participant has already accessed the online portion of the course, rescheduling the in-person component does not create a right to a refund for the online portion.
5. Cancellations by the Participant
Participants who need to cancel their registration should contact Central Florida Compliance as soon as possible.
The date and time Central Florida Compliance receives the written cancellation request will be used to determine whether the request qualifies for a refund or rescheduling under this policy.
Failure to attend a scheduled class without notifying Central Florida Compliance does not automatically qualify as a cancellation and may result in forfeiture of the applicable course fee.
6. No-Shows and Late Arrivals
A participant who does not attend a scheduled in-person class may be considered a no-show.
No-shows are generally not eligible for a refund.
Late arrival may also affect a participant's ability to complete required course activities, skills demonstrations, examinations, or other attendance requirements. If a participant arrives too late to participate in required activities, the participant may be required to reschedule.
Any rescheduling resulting from a no-show or excessive lateness is subject to availability and may involve an additional fee.
7. Failure to Complete the Online Portion
Participants are responsible for completing required online coursework within the timeframe communicated by Central Florida Compliance.
Failure to complete online coursework does not automatically qualify the participant for a refund.
If completion of the online portion is required before attending an in-person session, a participant who fails to complete the required material may be unable to attend or complete the in-person portion until the requirements have been satisfied.
8. Course Transfers
A participant may request to transfer enrollment to another eligible course or class date.
Transfers are subject to availability and approval by Central Florida Compliance.
A transfer is not guaranteed and may be denied if the participant has already completed a substantial portion of the course, if the requested course is full, or if other restrictions apply.
Any difference in course price may be charged or refunded as applicable.
9. Cancellations or Changes by Central Florida Compliance
Central Florida Compliance reserves the right to cancel, postpone, reschedule, relocate, modify, or change a course when circumstances require it.
Such circumstances may include, but are not limited to:
-
Instructor availability;
-
Facility or classroom issues;
-
Insufficient enrollment;
-
Severe weather;
-
Emergencies;
-
Technical problems;
-
Government requirements;
-
Safety concerns; or
-
Other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
If Central Florida Compliance cancels or materially changes a scheduled course, we will make reasonable efforts to notify registered participants and, when appropriate, offer an alternative class date, transfer, credit, or refund.
The specific remedy offered may depend on the circumstances and the portion of the course already delivered.
10. Inclement Weather and Emergencies
Central Florida Compliance may reschedule an in-person class when severe weather, emergency conditions, government directives, facility closures, or other circumstances make conducting the class unsafe or impractical.
Participants will be notified when reasonably possible.
When a class is rescheduled by Central Florida Compliance because of such circumstances, the participant may be offered an alternative class date or other appropriate option.
A participant's personal inability to attend because of weather or other circumstances does not automatically create a right to a refund if the class remains scheduled and available.
11. Illness or Personal Emergencies
We understand that unexpected circumstances may occur.
Participants experiencing illness, family emergencies, transportation problems, work conflicts, or other personal circumstances should contact Central Florida Compliance as soon as possible.
Requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis when appropriate. However, personal circumstances do not automatically guarantee a refund or rescheduling.
Documentation may be requested when necessary to evaluate an exception.
12. Payment Processing and Refund Timing
Approved refunds will generally be returned to the original payment method used for the purchase.
Central Florida Compliance does not control the processing time of banks, credit card companies, payment processors, or other financial institutions. Accordingly, the time required for a refund to appear in a participant's account may vary.
Any non-refundable processing fees, third-party fees, or other costs that were clearly disclosed at the time of purchase may be deducted from an otherwise eligible refund.
13. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
Participants are encouraged to contact Central Florida Compliance before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute.
If you believe a payment was processed incorrectly or that you are entitled to a refund, please contact us so that we can review the matter and attempt to resolve it.
Nothing in this section limits any rights you may have under applicable law.
14. Non-Transferability
Unless expressly approved by Central Florida Compliance, course registrations are intended for the individual who purchased or registered for the course.
A participant may not sell, transfer, or otherwise assign a registration to another person without prior approval.
15. Promotional Pricing and Discounts
Refunds for discounted courses, promotional purchases, bundled services, special offers, or promotional packages may be calculated based on the terms applicable to the promotion.
If a discount was conditioned upon purchasing multiple courses or services together, cancellation of one component may affect the applicable discount or refund amount.
16. Third-Party Fees and Services
Certain courses or services may involve third-party providers, testing organizations, certification bodies, payment processors, technology platforms, or other outside organizations.
Fees paid directly to a third party may be subject to that third party's refund and cancellation policy.
Central Florida Compliance is not responsible for refunding fees that were paid directly to a third party and are governed by the third party's terms.
17. Exceptions
Central Florida Compliance may, at its discretion, make an exception to this policy when circumstances warrant.
An exception in one situation does not create a continuing obligation to provide the same exception in another situation.
Any approved exception will be determined based on the circumstances and does not modify this policy for future registrations.
